Shock Records is thrilled to announce that Melbourne band Buckley Ward has just become the newest member of our growing family.
‘So Pretend’ – the brand new album from this alt-pop five piece – will be released by Shock Records in early 2012. And it’s an adventure into lush melodies and pounding rhythms that will catch in your throat, without a whiff of the stovepiped pretender.
Carefully crafted, cultivated, self-recorded and self-produced, ‘So Pretend’ was mixed by the legendary hand of Tony Espie (Architecture in Helsinki, The Avalanches).
To give you a sneaky peak at things to come, Buckley Ward have released the album’s title track for free download on their website, so check it out at www.buckleyward.com
