Formed in 2006 in Osaka, Japan, Crossfaith is made up of Kenta Koie (Vocals), Kazuki Takemura (Guitar), Hiroki Ikegawa (Bass), Tatsuya Amano (Drums), and Terufumi Tamano (Program/Vision). The release of the bands debut album ‘The Artificial Theory For The Dramatic Beauty’ in 2009 served as the catalyst which kick-started the Japanese Screamo/Metalcore scene. Soon after their debut release, the band found themselves opening for a diverse set of acts such as Machine Head, Hatebreed, August Burns Red, and Pierce The Veil and playing to thousands of fans at the prestigious Loud Park Festival in Japan.
With an unstoppable work ethic, the band went back into the studio in 2010 to record their sophomore release ‘The Dream, The Space’ with producer Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember). Released in 2011, the band took to the road to promote the record which included a key performance playing to 10,000 fans at Summer Sonic festival in Japan, and notable tours opening for the likes of Parkway Drive across China, Alesana in South Asia and Of Mice & Men in the UK.
